Like the first man on the moon, our Armstrong shirt should be the first shirt in your wardrobe. ItÕs a simple, classic point collar dress shirt in a brilliant white, 100% Egyptian cotton 2-ply poplin fabric. ItÕs a no nonsense dress shirt for the guy who wants his work to speak for itself.
Our Armstrong shirt is a member of a series of dress shirts that are designed to hearken back to the time of the Space Race and the era of the iconic American worker. The shirts come with our new American point collar and feature our signature convertible cuffs and gussets.

Fabric
Egyptian cotton is a particular variety that is grown in only a few other places. It is renowned as some of the best in the world. It has an extra long staple, which means it has longer fibers, resulting in a silkier, more durable fabric.
Poplin, sometimes called broadcloth, is a plain weave which means the threads alternately cross over and then under each other. This results in a very smooth and durable fabric that has an almost silky hand feel, particularly with higher thread counts. Also, poplins look very crisp when ironed.
