Story
In the Tour de France, the yellow jersey is worn by the race’s overall leader. No one has worn this jersey more than Eddy Merckx. In fact, no one has won more professional cycling races than Merckx.
We dedicate this shirt to the superhuman endurance and dedication that it takes for someone like Merckx to compete to the point where, at one point in his career, he was winning the equivalent of a bike race a week for 6 years.
The Merckx is part of our spread collar button-down collection of shirts. This one is a beautiful orange, offset check pattern in honor of Merckx’ native Belgium and the yellow jersey he wore so often. It features a distinctive double-top button, spread collar button-down and convertible cuffs.

Great shirt and the unexpected bonus is Chicago Bears colors. The plaid is better in person and works with jeans or chinos. I dont love the 2nd button on the collar but it does add a little something interesting to the shirt.

I picked up one of these shirts, in addition to the Senna and am really happy to report that H&C really knocked it out of the park with their description of the fit. I'm 5'9 and I weigh about 155lbs and it is incredibly difficult to fit something that fits correctly. Usually the sleeves are too long and the sides billow enough to support me as a parachute. Not the case here. Fit is trim, color looks great, and the quality looks nice. I'm not a huge fan of the second button either, but I can live with it.
