Quadrille
Story
The Quadrille is a beautiful pink mini-check shirt that comes ready for use out of the box, in classrooms and boardrooms alike.
The shirt draws inspiration from a school math teacher, with its quad paper-like pattern, humble button-down collar, and box-pleat back for a little extra wiggle room to reach chalk against the corners of a blackboard. And of course the color. Pink. Hardly for the shy. Not quite the faint gray or blue of graph paper, Quadrille's pink mini-checks provide focus and order, while reminding the owner that it's ok to draw outside the lines.
Design
- Small button-down collar
- Box pleat back
- Narrow, single button barrel cuffs
- Squared, button-less sleeve placket

Of the four H&C shirts that hang in my closet, Quadrille gets taken out the most. The funny thing is, it's the one shirt I actually waivered on purchasing (thought it might look too much like Sure Thing - it doesn't). Does it look good under a blazer? Check. Does it work best with jeans or dress pants? Both. It's got a button collar - will a tie work? Works wonders. Tucked or Untucked? Either is fly. I’m looking forward to see what comes next from H&C.
