It’s been nearly two years since we set out to create a grown man’s T-shirt for weekends well spent. As a startup funded out-of-pocket, we were so thankful to have the support of the Kickstarter community to bring our vision to life in a tee that’s soft, fitted, and made to last: the Fitted T-Shirt. Today, we’re proud to release four new limited edition colors that truly walk the walk.

Inspired by Henry David Thoreau’s Walking, meet a glorious T-shirt crafted with our signature tapered fit and sophisticated comfort. Featuring a relaxed crew neck, a single breast pocket, and 100% combed cotton, our Indigo tee will lead you down mysterious paths. Named for a unique dye cultivated in India, East Asia, and Egypt in antiquity, known for traveling along the Silk Road, this tee will have your back as you pave your route. Head out of your house this weekend, and let nature be your guide. Whether you find yourself hiking toward a wooded creek, or bird watching in a quiet garden tucked away in a corner of your city, you’ll look and feel at ease; at last, a way to cast off work-week woes to be wild and free.

Fabric

Combed cotton is an incredibly soft version of cotton made by "combing" the fibers before they're spun into yarn. The result is a light-weight fabric ideal for wearing against the skin, yet strong enough to hold its shape over time.The combed cotton used for the Fitted T-Shirts undergoes a special garment dye wash. This is an extensive method, but well worth it. The color comes out richer and the process eliminates any shrinkage, which means your shirt will look just as good six months from now as it did the first time you put it on. Over time, the T-shirt will have a gradual and natural change in tone.

Sizing

Hugh & Crye dress shirts use a sizing system based on body types. They're ready-made fitted shirts, designed for lean and athletically built men. We make shirts crafted for the height of your torso (short, average, tall) and your overall build (skinny, slim, athletic, or broad). Our shirts aren't made for the masses, they're made for you.
