A denim shirt is the least pretentious button-down you can own. It’s unassuming, yet stylish, with an underlying strength and wayward edge. Our version of this steadfast staple is buttery-soft and lightweight with a tailored fit that’s rare for a more utilitarian fabric. No stiffness or cliché adornments—just a rich indigo denim with workwear roots and discreet style. Each shirt features a single breast pocket, two back darts, and a light wash for an extra cozy finish. Dress it up with a knit tie, layer it with a Henley, or wear it open over a Fitted Tee.

Ring-spun cotton is made my continuously twisting and thinning the strands of yarn, making a fine rope of cotton fibers. The result is a longer yarn with a significantly softer hand feel. Denim is a cotton twill consisting of indigo and white yarns tightly woven together. The indigo yarns are warp threads that run lengthwise while the white, weft threads run the width of the fabric. Over time, the indigo-dyed threads on the outside of a fabric will start to wear, and will expose more of the white threads, resulting in a faded look commonly seen in blue jeans. Being indigo, every shirt will have a slightly unique look and subtle fade over time. Note: this fabric may bleed slightly during the first wash and should be washed separately or hand washed.
