Our Onuma shirt is among our new washed cutaway collection. The wash is an environmentally-friendly garment finish given for a softer, more wearable feel. The Onuma has our most common cuff - the H&C convertible cuff - which can be buttoned, rolled up, or dressed up and worn with cuff links. It also features a few subtle details - contrast sleeve placket bindings and gold button-hole thread on the last button-hole.
This Onuma shirt is cut from a brown herringbone twill cotton fabric and finished with natural buttons.

Egyptian cotton is a particular variety that is grown in only a few other places. It is renowned as some of the best in the world. It has an extra long staple, which means it has longer fibers, resulting in a silkier, more durable fabric. Twill fabrics have a weft thread that runs over and under multiple warp threads (as opposed to a plain weave where the weft crosses a single warp thread at a time). This can create interesting patterns like a herringbone, houndstooth or a simple, diagonal rib. Twills are very durable fabrics that have a softer hand feel than poplins and a bit more sheen.
