Our Badlands shirt is part of our new collection of washed casual shirts. It’s gone through a special wash that leaves the garment feeling soft and comfortable. It also has a casual, small point collar and a single breast pocket with a pen holder.

Poplin, sometimes called broadcloth, is a plain weave which means the threads alternately cross over and then under each other. This results in a very smooth and durable fabric that has an almost silky hand feel, particularly with higher thread counts. Also, poplins look very crisp when ironed.

This shirt continues H&C's ongoing legacy of great fitting dress shirts that play with casual slacks for the office as well as dark jeans for the bar. However, BADLANDS also offers a few touches unique to the new lineup that really rounded out my look for the fall: the washed point collar, front pocket with center button, and--best of all--the vibrant but mellow plaid. Wore this with a grey blazer the other day and the blue really popped. Looks great in layers with a V-neck sweater also. It should go without saying that this is a great quality shirt that fits great (I'm a tall/slim). I'm looking forward to trying some of the other great new shirts this Christmas.
