Seneca Casual Blazer
BEHIND THE COLLECTION
Inspired by the Maryland Countryside
From the natural drape of its unstructured design to its six earth tone colorways, our Casual Blazer draws inspiration from the simplicity of nature. It’s named after Seneca Creek in Maryland and the surrounding historic district—home to an old sandstone quarry, inland canals, and expansive farmland dating back to the 18th century. The serene landscape complements the ease and comfort of our Casual Blazers which pair perfectly with our OCBDs — both versatile pieces perfect for a relaxed day outdoors or night out with friends.
The Seneca blazer has the same modern-classic aesthetic as the Buggy-Back and Fully Lined Blazers, but is unlined, leaving the detailed construction of the garment exposed on the inside of the jacket. It’s made of 100% cotton—brushed in order to remove excess lint and fibers for a smooth finish—and undergoes a special garment dye wash that gives it a soft, muted tone. Deep, rounded patch pockets stitched to the outer panel of the blazer give the Seneca a less formal look while working surgeon’s cuffs add function.
