The Ultimate Travel Shirt

We regularly reach for our popover shirts on sourcing trips abroad. With patterns - they can look more wrinkle resistant - their lighter fabric makes them more breathable, and their looser fit gives them desirable features needed for shuttling between factory visits. Usually we source fabrics from warmer climates, but that does not take air travel into consideration. In parallel, we've seen ourselves looking for a cool weather alternative for personal, domestic travel. As such, we decided to produce the first Hugh & Crye long-sleeve popover. 

Unlike our previous popover collections, we decided to give this a more dress shirt look by adding a small button-down collar. This collar gives the popover more versatility: the ability to pass as a dress shirt under a sweater or blazer. The button-down aspect also keeps the collar from flying all over the place. Made with thinner, Egyptian cotton and long sleeves, this shirt is the perfect fall layering piece to give your wardrobe some personality without sacrificing ease and comfort.
