Named for James Smithson, our Smithson shirt pays homage to the founder of the Smithsonian Institution. A British chemist and mineralogist, Smithson never actually visited the United States. Yet in his will he bequeathed the entirely of his fortune to the U.S. Government to establish the Smithsonian. Our Smithson shirt comes in a soft poplin with a regal purple and white small check pattern.Smithson also features our new Semi-spread, or ÒAinsleyÓ style.
